NOT WITHOUT MY LIPSTICK: URBAN DECAY VICE
Loving what I do is one thing. Always on the go but not always ready to look like an actual human being is another thing. There’s one product that has been my lifesaver the last weeks.
LIPSTICK IS MY VICE
…and my lifesaver. Running from work to university and then trying to make it on time to the next event is manageable. Looking like you actually just got ready is impossible. I often don’t feel good about myself standing next to my beautiful colleagues who had the chance to at least freshen up a bit. A little touchup during the uber right doesn’t always work for me. I feel like my tiredness still comes through. I realized that what works for me is to add a little bit of color to my look. So I always try to go for really strong bold colors for my lips. Y’all know that I’m a lipstick junkie. But this one really made me gape again: The Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick
I swear it feels like you have nothing on your lips the whole day! And during the day I need to touch-up one time max. And that’s the time after I had lunch (which wouldn’t be necessary if I would stop eating all kinds of food that are oily btw.)
MENACE MOMENT
I went with the color Menace which is a color that I think you should really try first. As I mentioned, I go with really strong colors most of the time. I should mention that most of the time that strong colors don’t clash with my skin color so that’s something you should keep in mind when choosing yours. This color is perfect for summer and really leaves that kind of freshness to my face even after a long day – or before a long evening after work.
I really love the texture and I’m for sure getting some of the other colors too. I also am more kind of the matte lipstick type so this is perfect.
This is how the color looks like on me at the end of the day. You can see that it already faded a bit but still gives me that fresh look.
