THE BLENDING OF ALL COLORS

The color white is an inherently positive color. It represents successful beginnings and stands for innocence, goodness and positivity. That’s maybe the reason why we associate the good guy with this angelic color and the bad guys with black. Lately I’ve seen more and more ‘bad boys’ pullin’ off the all-white look. It’s clean and adds this mysterious touch to every bad boy. Some say that an all-white-look is easy to combine, but I still think that it’s quite challenging not ending up looking like someone whose profession is being a surgeon. I personally embrace an all-white look year round but let’s be honest spring is the best time to succeed in rockin’ that look of softness and perfection. Further it makes everyday the perfect occasion for the ladies to wear all white not having to wait for your big day.

While black is the absence of color, white blends all colors to one color. A friend of mine, Jim Beam, picked his almost-head-to-toe-white-look and used it as a blank white sheet of paper. He filled the paper and brought out the main points of his outfit like he would do by drawing the right clean lines and stains with the pop of color and pattern to a blank sheet, to bring more depth and dimension to the whole minimalistic painting. He used his white look to build around rest of the outfit by throwing on this camel coat and his dark vintage shoes and softened out the innocent look.
